Some analysts are saying GOOG is over-priced, and others call for it to go up to $1000 or $2000 per share. There was a rumor that Google management has no plans to ever split, thus mimicking the strategy that Warren Buffet has used with growing value at Berkshire Hathaway.
We recently attended an Aerospace Gala with F1 Air at the F1 Boston convention hall; the luminaries, private and public sector business leaders and corporate aviation professionals were numerous. Business Jet Aviation has seen an uptick in popularity as jet makers build improved fuel efficient engines and planes, and corporate users seek to compress time, with more direct routing, increased safety, and inflight productivity through their use of Broadband enabled airborne offices. There were good presentations by the Grandson of the designer of the Spirit of St. Louis that Charles Lindbergh flew from New York to Paris, as well as Captain Al Haynes who was pilot in command of the United Airlines flight 232, a DC-10 jet that crash landed in Sioux City, Iowa after a catastrophic engine failure caused the loss of all flight controls. Captain Haynes credited, Luck, Cooperation, Communication, and Preparation as factors that led to the remarkable outcome that saved the lives of two-thirds of the nearly 300 people on board.

We took note of the highly anticipated VLJ (Very Light Jet) category of private and corporate jet aircraft that will be coming to market later this year from several vendors such as Cessna, Adam, Embraer, Eclipse, Epic, ATG and Cirrus Designs. There were also many new product announcements vying for attention from planemakers like Grob, Piper, HondaJet, Airbus, Gulfstream, Boeing, Bombardier, Falcon, AerionCorp, Beechcraft, Hawker, LearJet, Piaggio and Pilatus.
